For the last two years , this young man from Santa Clara, Cuba ; has brought to the Fashion industry the beauty and the ethnic diversity of Latino America. Born in 1990 in Cuba , Pablo Contreras has placed his named in the world of high fashion . Since signing with Request Models in New York City 08 his career has sky rocketed. 2009 has been an extremely busy one for the young Cuban who has had the opportunity to travel the world and place the name of his country and culture as one of the most exotic places for agents and designers to gain inspiration . Contreras went on to open the fall Givenchy Show in Paris and was photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin as the face of Givenchy . During the spring of 2009 Contreras alongside Sasha Pivovarova were shot by Steven Miesel for a high fashion editorial spread in Italian VOGUE.
